There are many ways to buy or sell property in Costa Rica. Mine starts with understanding.
I work with buyers, sellers, and investors across the most established residential areas of the Central Valley: the western side of the Greater San José area, including Escazú, Santa Ana, and Ciudad Colón; some of San José’s most distinctive neighborhoods, such as Escalante, Barrio Dent, Los Yoses, Nunciatura, and Rohrmoser; and the eastern residential areas of Curridabat, Granadilla, and Tres Ríos. Each area has its own market dynamics, buyer profile, and approach to property value, and knowing those differences is what makes it possible to advise buyers and position listings well.
My work doesn’t start with listings. It starts with a conversation. Before I recommend a property — or map out how to bring yours to market — I take the time to understand what someone is really after: how they want to live, what they want from an investment, and what prompted the search in the first place. The result is fewer wasted viewings, clearer decisions, and a clear, well-guided process from start to finish.
I’ve found homes for clients who had spent years searching with nothing to show for it. Not because I had more inventory, but because I listened differently. I bring that same standard to every property I represent: pricing and presenting it with care, and reaching the right buyer rather than just any buyer.
