DESCRIPTION

These beautiful 427 acres (173 hectares) are nestled on a hillside of the Central Pacific, near Quepos and the famous Manuel Antonio National Park. This extraordinary piece of land was chosen because of its strategic location, natural resources, and conservation.

The property offers a diverse jungle landscape, a river running through it, and breathtaking views. While it feels remote, it is an easy 35 minutes from Quepos, has public electricity and even fiber optic internet right up to the property on a public road.

This property can be developed into a boutique eco-lodge operation, a multi-family compound, a stunning private estate along the river, or any other type of tourist facility. There are canopy tours in neighboring properties for example, and the beautiful river right along the property (on the other side of which is the Tocori Natural Preserve) has considerable clearings along it which can be easily developed (the current road largely follows the river). With the right vision, this property can become an incredible luxury escape not too far from the amenities of a town like Quepos, and given the considerable size, a contribution to nature with the majority of it kept in conservation as a place where even Jaguars and Pumas have been sighted.

Currently there is a farmhouse with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. There is also a small caretaker house. There is also a covered parking area and stables for cows and horses.

A year-round natural spring provides the farm with potable water and there are various other natural springs throughout the property as well as streams (and small waterfalls!) to complement the large Paquita river running on the southern border of the property.
